Hi, I'm Mariana.
I help leaders operate from values they actually choose, not the ones they inherited.
I’m a certified coach with a master’s degree in adult learning and over 20 years’ experience in talent development. I'm also a first-generation professional from a working class background who had to figure out how to navigate the unwritten rules of corporate culture in real time, too often by fumbling through situations without a roadmap.
Now I use what I learned to help others develop the leadership mindset to navigate their own path through a values-based, human-centered lens. My coaching focuses on recognizing patterns, identifying implied expectations, challenging assumptions and clarifying your core values to shed beliefs and practices that no longer align with who or where you are now.
ABOUT ME
I'm an ICF-accredited coach.
I work with leaders and first-generation professionals at all levels across a variety of industries. I support leadership development at companies like Comcast and Sony Music through partner programs, and directly support C-suite teams, senior executives and emerging leaders at small and mid-sized firms.
Why work with me
There are plenty of coaches who can help with the surface of work: a career coach to rewrite your resume, a life coach to fix your morning routine, or a performance coach to chase a specific organizational result.
I work a layer deeper than those things: the outdated beliefs that are actually running you, the story you've been telling yourself about who you are, and the courage it takes to lead from your own values instead of the ones you inherited.
Having lived the first-gen experience firsthand, I’m all-too-familiar with the persistent narratives, limiting beliefs, and disempowering patterns that often manifest when you’re the first in your family to level up in education and income.
I ask the questions you've been too nervous, too busy, or moving too quickly to ask yourself so we can excavate your unrealized insights to determine what to keep and what’s no longer serving you.
